One More Moment Review

  • Another great book in the series

    By Load fun
I love how Julian and Charlotte met. I thought that it was pretty funny that she didn’t know who he was and actually thought he was down on his luck or possibly homeless. She fell in love with him for what he was not who he was! I was surprised that Dena showed back up in the story but it gave Julian the best possible closure that he needed. She definitely deserved everything she got on her wedding day - she was no one without him! I enjoy reading a lot of Samantha Chase’s books because she likes to at least mention little old NC - and that’s where I live!
  • Mistaken identity

I love it when an author love shocks me to the core. The opening of this book did just that. Julian has had a rough time with his fiancee, Dena. He has put in the effort to save and rejuvenate their relationship over and over. This time he can't turn a blind eye. And he opens everyone's eyes as well. My jaw had to be removed from the floor so I could read on. Charlotte is a breath of fresh air. She is a social worker who helps people find work and in turn families to find a new normal. When she spots a down and out man at the coffee shop, she doesnt hesitate to help. She offers him work since he looks scruffy and angry, two signs of someone not dealing well. At least in Charlotte's line of work. When he sits down next to her demanding what she wants from him, she is the one to become defensive. Julian has lost all trust in everyone. What his ex has done to him is so much more than he'll ever admit. But he's intrigued by Charlotte and when she offers for him to help out at the shelter, he's curious. No one is more shocked that he shows to help than Charlotte. Thus begins their story. Julian is angry at the world and I can understand that. Charlotte is the ying to his yang. They fit perfectly as long as she doesn't pry. I love how they know so little about each other but still fall so hard, so fast. When he does open up to her it's in small doses. She is beyond curious until he tells her who he really is. I adore her reaction! And it's not what you think. I think there are a lot of ah ha moments in this book for me. Letting go of the past, helping isn't necessarily monetary, paying it forward, and the little things matter. This was a perfect ending to the series. Having read all of the Band on the Run books, it's difficult to say which is my favorite. Each band member is unique and has a special place in my heart. Julian is the angry one. Dylan is the party animal. Matt is full of himself. And Riley is the go getter and leader. By the end of this series they have all changed. The women who love them have a bit to do with that but so does trying and failing.
  • A phenomenal read!!

I’m so sad to see this series end, but what an ending it had with this book!!! It sucked me in from the start, and I couldn’t put it down. Julian was a bit of a broken hero that you will fall in love with in no time, along with wanting to reach in and shake him a bit lol. He’s sexy, and he’s got this sweet side that will have you swooning. Charlotte is an awesome heroine. She’s strong, sweet, and seriously has a heart of gold. She has no problem putting Julian in his place, but doesn’t go overboard and push him when he doesn’t want it. This story will have you laughing, tearing up, and swooning! I would definitely recommend one clicking
  • I LOVE Julian!!

This has become my favorite story in this series. Julian is disillusioned by the music industry and love so he shuts himself down. Charlotte is a young woman that gives of herself to help other less fortunate. This story has all the feels of a great romance! I couldn't put the book down and read it in a day. That does not happen often for me. LOL!!

Wow! I was immediately hooked by the author’s exquisite ability at storytelling, “One More Moment” transforms from a simple love story to one that enraptures readers with emotion, conviction, and vitality. Beautifully written this book is one you won’t be able to put down. Julian Grayson has lost all faith in people, after being betrayed and used by his fiancé Dena for years. Now with his trust broken he wasn’t even sure that he could go back to his music career. He had always been the type of man, who would be there for anyone, but now he was lost. Charlotte Clark is a Vocational Rehabilitation’s Counselor who is a dedicated workaholic. Always going above and beyond trying to help her clients, or anyone she can, to make their life better. As she is waiting to get coffee one morning, she notices the unkept man that appeared to be tired and a little agitated ahead of her in line. When he goes to pay he realizes that doesn’t have his wallet, so Charlotte adds his order to hers’ and tells him to “pay it forward.” Julian expects that she has recognized him, and wants something from him in return. But Charlotte doesn’t have a clue who Julian really is. After a interesting conversation and finding out more about her job with Charlotte. Julian is not only intrigued by her, he is taken by her honesty and her goodness, that he finds almost too good to be true. And he wants to get to know more about her before she finds out who he really is .But Julian also thought that Charlotte Clark was quite possibly the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen, and she was sassy and took his breath away without even trying. He was going to make sure he would see her again. Watching Julian and Charlotte come together was fantastic. Their journey through friendship, life and love is filled with all the heat, and humor I crave and all the heartbreaking emotion that you can’t get enough of. Julian completely surprised me by his tender romantic gestures as well as his sweet and caring ways to Charlotte. From the first page till the last I was mesmerized by Julian and his story. So engaging in so many ways. This is my Favorite of the series. Do yourself a favor-don’t pass this book by. Not enough stars for this one. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
