Taken from the original court transcript this volume covers the proceedings from 7th to 19th June, 1946 and represents an essential primary source for scholars and general readers alike. The transcripts are complete and contain the whole of the proceedings as taken from the original court documents.

The cases against Arthur Seyss-Inquart, Franz von Papen and Albert Speer are begun.
Seyss-Inquart was the Federal Chancellor of Austria and Reichskommissar of the occupied Dutch territories. The case includes his testimony about Austrian Anschluss and the Jewish question.
Von Papen was briefly the Chancellor of Germany in 1932, then Vice-Chancellor under Hitler in 1933-34.
Alfred Speer was Hitler’s architect and the minister of Armaments and War Production.
